Wick Fisher White designed a new hot water boiler plant at Lincoln Financial Field consisting of two 450- horsepower and two 250- horsepower Bryan flexible water tube hot water boilers with gas-fired burners, controls and safety devices. The Eagles requested the design of the new boiler plant after increasing electrical cost associated with their electric heat throughout the stadium. Wick Fisher White modified the controls of the existing chilled water system to allow for the new boiler plant and create a dual-temperature water system at the stadium. As part of this project, our team also developed a site plan to illustrate the points of connection for the gas service, domestic water service, sanitary and storm water connections to existing systems. Due to the complexity and fast-tracked pace of the project, this was a collaborative design-build effort between Wick Fisher White and Herman Goldner Co.
