Wick Fisher White provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection design and construction administration services for the fit-out of approximately 7,600 sf of medical office space in Newtown, Pennsylvania for the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. The new space served as a satellite primary care location for CHOP, offering pediatric medical services to Philadelphia’s northern suburbs.

The new primary care facility is located in an existing one-story, slab on grade office building that had previously operated as manufacturing space. The project included the design of a new stand-alone, variable air volume air conditioning system to serve the space. Although a satellite location, the space was designed to meet the same stringent standards for patient care that CHOP demands for its main campus. The project was completed in the spring of 2016.
