The Riverhouse at Odette’s is a luxury boutique hotel located on the banks of the Delaware River, in New Hope, PA. Wick Fisher White provided the mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection design for the new five-level hotel, encompassing approximately 46,460-sf. The hotel consists of a garage level that includes parking underneath the building, kitchen receiving, storage and trash areas, as well as a maintenance shop and sprinkler room. The first floor includes a main lobby and reception areas, office spaces, a restaurant and bar, two ball rooms, a pre-function room and a kitchen to support guests. The second and third floors were designed to include a total of 28 guest rooms along with hospitality suites. The top penthouse level includes a bar with indoor and outdoor roof deck seating along with mechanical and electrical equipment rooms. Unique design strategies had to be taken into consideration due to flooding issues and proximity to the river. Also, due to the fast-track nature of the project our team had to be proactive in anticipating and avoiding unforeseen issues.
