Wick Fisher White provided mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering services for the redevelopment of The Fashion Outlets of Philadelphia formerly known as the Gallery Mall located in center city Philadelphia. Construction will include a complete renovation and reconfiguration of the 1.5 million sf mixed-use facility. Included in the revamp will be accessible storefronts, sidewalk cafes, a new streetscape, digital signage and graphics. The interior upgrade will create an open, well-lit and easily accessible three-block corridor of approximately 125 new stores, including dining and entertainment options. One of the highlights will be a new glass-walled center court. Included in the renovation will be new flooring and lighting in the commons areas, new mall entrances along market street, renovations to the food court, exterior facade and lighting upgrades, new and relocated elevators and escalators, and the reconfiguration and expansion of tenant GLA. Specifically, the mechanical upgrades includes a new HVAC system to replace the existing equipment and to provide chilled air to all tenant spaces.

In addition to the work noted above, our team provided core and shell design for several of the mall's prominent tenants, including AMC, City Winery, and Century 21, and full fit-out design for others, including Burlington and Wonderspace. Core and shell design for City Winery and other restaurant tenants included the provision of kitchen exhaust and make-up air ducts up to the roof of the multi-story buildings.
